What I collect, and what I do with it.
Short version: an email address if you subscribe, your details if you book a call, and anonymous analytics if you accept the cookie banner. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.

Who is responsible
Epic Software Labs Ltd is the data controller, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16576534, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom.
For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete your data, email hello@mayurkale.com. One person reads that inbox, so you will get a real answer.
What is collected, and why

There is no automated decision-making and no profiling here. You are never required to give any of this — the site works without it, and declining costs you nothing but the newsletter.
Who else sees it
Four suppliers process data on our behalf, under contract, and only on our instructions. Nobody buys it, and nobody is given it for their own marketing.
- Kit (Kit.com, Inc.) — Email delivery for the newsletter and the welcome series. Processes data in the United States.
- PostHog, Inc. — Website analytics. Only runs after you accept the cookie banner. Processes data in the United States.
- Cal.com, Inc. — Discovery call scheduling. Processes data in the United States.
- Vercel Inc. — Website hosting, and the server logs that come with it. Processes data in the United States.
Because those suppliers are outside the UK, transfers to them rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the supplier is certified under it. Ask and we will tell you which applies to which.
Data may also be disclosed where the law requires it, or to professional advisers under a duty of confidence.
Your rights
- Access. Ask for a copy of the personal data held about you.
- Rectification. Have anything inaccurate corrected.
- Erasure. Ask for it to be deleted.
- Restriction. Ask us to stop using it while a question about it is settled.
- Portability. Receive it in a portable format, or have it sent elsewhere.
- Objection. Object to any use we base on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent. Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you did.
Email hello@mayurkale.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge. Every newsletter also carries a one-click unsubscribe link, which is the fastest route if that is all you want.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, but you do not have to.
Changes to this notice
When this notice changes materially — a new supplier, a new purpose — the date at the top changes with it. Anything that affects a purpose you consented to will be told to you by email rather than left here to be discovered.
